DETAILS

THA022 (E316L-16) is rutile type stainless steel electrode with ultra-low carbon. Can be weld for all-position with AC or DC. It have excellent welding performance as good arc stiffness, little spatter, easy slag removal etc.

Welding Positions

WARNING

  • The electrodes must be re-dried at 320°C–350°C for 1 hour prior to welding.
  • Rust, oil, moisture, and other contaminants must be removed from the weld zone before welding.
  • DC⁺ is preferred to AC, with lower heat input suggested. Preheat and interpass temperatures should be kept below 150°C.
