THY-58Ni1 (E71T8-Ni1-J) is a low-alloy steel self-shielded flux-cored wire. Suitable for all-position welding, particularly vertical-down progression, it offers exceptional low-temperature impact toughness without requiring external shielding gas.

  • Exceptional all-position welding performance, specifically optimized for vertical-down welding
  • Superior low-temperature impact toughness at -40°C ("J" classification) with ~1% Nickel addition
  • High deposition efficiency, fast-freezing slag, and smooth arc with easy slag removal
