DETAILS
Stainless Steel Welding Electrodes (304 & Cryogenic Grades)
Features
- AC and DC dual-purpose with all-position welding capability
- Excellent welding performance, smooth arc, and easy slag removal
- Superior heat, corrosion, and crack resistance
- Outstanding impact toughness at cryogenic temperatures (-196°C)
Typical Applications
- Cryogenic stainless steel structures and equipment
- Liquid nitrogen (LN2) storage tanks and vessels
- Liquefied natural gas (LNG) processing and transport equipment
- Welding 304 and 18-8 stainless steel components
- Chemical, petrochemical, and low-temperature piping systems
Welding Positions
- PA / PB / PC / PD / PE / PF
WARNING
- The electrodes must be re-dried at 320°C–350°C for 1 hour prior to welding.
- Rust, oil, moisture, and other contaminants must be removed from the weld zone before welding.
- DC+ is preferred to AC, with lower heat input suggested. Preheat and interpass temperatures should be kept below 150°C.
